Abstract
The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and robotics has revolutionized the concept of smart homes. This article explores the advancements in IoT and robotics that are transforming homes into intelligent ecosystems capable of autonomous operation and personalized experiences.
Introduction
The idea of a smart home has evolved from simple remote-controlled devices to sophisticated systems where IoT and robotics converge. The synergy between these technologies has given rise to an era where smart bots not only perform mundane tasks but also anticipate the needs of the inhabitants, offering unprecedented convenience and efficiency.
The Evolution of Smart Homes
Smart homes have transitioned towards automation and digitalization, with an entire ecosystem of connected devices. Innovations in smart home connectivity, security, health management, and entertainment have paved the way for a more interactive and secure living environment¹.
The Role of IoT

The development of homebots, which can range from visible robotic assistants to invisible software managing systems, represents a significant leap towards fully autonomous homes².
