Scope Of Scisustain 2025

The international conference on “Fostering Sustainable Development through Interdisciplinary Scientific Research” aims to bring together researchers, scientists, policymakers, industry experts and stakeholders from Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Forensic Science and Microbiology to share knowledge, expertise and innovative solutions for achieving sustainable development. The conference will provide insights into the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on how applications and emerging strategies of life science research can contribute to achieving these goals,
particularly in addressing global challenges such as:
· Poverty and hunger
· Clean water and sanitation
· Affordable and clean energy
· Decent work and economic growth
· Climate action and environmental sustainability

Call For Papers

SciSustain 2025 invites full-length, original research papers and review articles from academia, research and development organisations and industry professionals from India and abroad. Papers should be original and not have been published or be under review in any journal or conference proceedings. Papers should be submitted in the following thrust areas (though not limited to):

 

Here are two sub-themes for each of the conference tracks:

Theme 1: Bridging Science, Society and Sustainability: Innovations for a Better World (SDG – 9 & 17)

  • Science Communication for Social Impact: Exploring effective strategies for communicating scientific knowledge to diverse audiences and promoting sustainable practices.

  • Sustainability, Ethics and Governance: Analyzing the role of policy and governance in promoting sustainable development and addressing global challenges.


Theme 2: Green Technologies Microbial and Plant-Based Solutions for a Sustainable Planet (SDG – 2 & 6)

  • Microbial Biotechnology for Environmental Remediation: Investigating the potential of microorganisms in bioremediation of contaminated environments.

  • Plant-based Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture: Exploring the use of plant-based technologies to improve agricultural practices, enhance soil health, and ensure sustainable agricultural production.


Theme 3: Healthcare, Public Safety and Forensic Medicine: Innovations for Sustainable Societies (SDG – 3 & 16)

  • Medical Biotechnology and Forensic Pathology: Understanding the role of medical biotechnology and forensic pathology in improving public health and safety.

  • Disaster Response and Crisis Threats: Innovative Forensic Strategies for Sustainable Healthcare and Emergency Preparedness.


Theme 4: Life Sciences in the Digital Era: Future Directions and Opportunities (SDG – 4 & 9)

  • Digital Transformation in Life Sciences: Examining the applications of AI in life sciences, including drug discovery, genomics, and personalized medicine.

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Precision Medicine: Discussing the potential of AI and ML in developing personalized treatment plans and improving patient outcomes.


Theme 5: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Sustainability: Bio-Innovation and Emerging Technologies (SDG – 9 & 17)

  • Bio-Inspired Solutions for Sustainable Development: Exploring how biological principles and technologies can inspire innovative solutions for sustainable development.

  • Emerging Technologies and Sustainability: Assessing the impact of emerging technologies, including nanotechnology, in medicine, energy and environmental sustainability.


Theme 6: One Health: Uniting Human, Animal and Environmental Sciences for Global Well-being (SDG – 3 & 15)

  • Zoonotic Diseases and Global Health Security: Discussing the threat of zoonotic diseases and the need for interdisciplinary approaches in prevention and healthcare.

  • Environmental Changes and Human and Animal Health: Examining the impact of environmental factors, such as climate change and urbanization, on human and animal health.


Theme 7: Policy, Education and Capacity Building for Future-ready Forensic Science (SDG – 4 & 16)

  • Future-Proofing Forensic Science: Strengthening Education, Training and Interdisciplinary Research for Global Challenges.

Publication

All the papers will be included in the conference proceedings with ISBN as an E-Book. Selected papers will be published in the UGC / Scopus-indexed journals with applicable charges determined by the respective journals.
