बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ
हिंदी कविता के द्वारा एक पिता ने अपनी बेटी के दिनचर्या को दर्शाया है–
बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ, बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ,
रोज सवेरे सो कर उठती, हाथ पांव मुंह धोती
रोटी चाय, नहीं मिलने पर जोर-जोर से रोती
बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ, बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ,
अपनी मेडम हमें सिखाती, सुंदर वेश बनाना
फूल समान दिखे ये फीता चोटी रोज सजाना
बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ, बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ,
अगर पिताजी पूछे क्या पढ़ती शाला जाकर
कह देती बतलाऊंगी आती हूँ खाना खाकर
बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ, बहनो तुमको गीत सुनाऊ!
