Machining plays pivotal role in manufacturing industries and the modern manufacturing processes are focused to support sustainability. Innovative technologies are integrated significantly reduce environmental impact while improving efficiency of machining. Modern tool materials are highly efficient that eliminates wastage of materials, improves productivity and does not emit hazardous gases that cause harm to the environment. Scientists are preferring various optimization techniques and are using composite materials that does not react with lubricants used during machining and helps sustainable production system. Bio-based cutting fluids offer a safer and more sustainable alternative to traditional lubricants, reducing toxicity and environmental harm. Additive manufacturing techniques like 3d printing also helps reducing the wastages and also can build complex shapes. To summarize, the sustainable advanced machining processes promise a greener future for manufacturing, enhancing efficiency, profitability, and environmental responsibility.
