The University performed well in recent National Student Surveys, with Greenwich staff and its courses receiving high marks. The University also scores highly for student satisfaction, with Business Administration; English Language and English Language Teaching; Computer Security and Forensics; Computing with Games Development; Financial Mathematics; Midwifery; and Public Health excelling. Two of the University’s Diplomas of Higher Education courses in Children’s Nursing and Nursing Studies achieved 100% scores.

Middlesex University has a strong reputation for research amongst modern universities and their innovation in education has been rewarded with three Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education. The University has also been awarded two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise as a result of their international standing.

Middlesex University provide an airport meet and greet service before the beginning of term and an international orientation programme introduces students to the University and London through talks, events and trips. As well as pre-sessional English courses, Middlesex offers free workshops and tutorials on academic writing and English language.

Following the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, Middlesex University was classed as the best modern university in London for research power. 58% of research was ranked internationally excellent and Middlesex is 4th in the UK for Social Work and Social Policy.

Middlesex University offers accommodation across four sites, providing almost 1,200 beds managed by the Central Accommodation Office. Full time international students are guaranteed a place in university accommodation for the first year of their studies and lodgings vary from traditional style halls to flats grouped around a communal kitchen/dining area.

Cardiff University is recognised in independent government assessments as one of Britain’s leading teaching and research universities. Cardiff University’s expertise in research and research-led teaching involves social sciences, engineering, technology and a wide range of business professions. University of East London- London, England

The University of East London (UEL) dates back to 1898 and was founded as a university in 1992. It currently has 13,500 students from 135 countries enrolled, and the campuses at Docklands and Stratford are located in East London, close to the major financial centre of Canary Wharf and the region chosen to host the 2012 Olympics. The Docklands Campus was London’s first new university campus in 50 years.

UEL was ranked 2nd in the UK for teaching quality (Times Higher Education Young University Rankings), as well as featuring in the world’s top 200 young universities (Times Higher Education Young University Rankings). In addition, the University has been voted most improved university over the last decade in the UK (Times Higher Education).

Academic strengths include Architecture and the Visual Arts, Civil Engineering, Cultural and Media Studies, Education, Psychology, Sports Science. The University is well known for sports, and has had Olympic and Paralympic projects including research, student involvement and sporting partnerships underway since 2005.

The University of East London International Office gives guidance from the initial stages of the application process through to arriving in London. There is a free orientation programme before the beginning of term for international students, while academic preparation courses for some undergraduate programmes (as well as pre-sessional English) are also available.

UEL has safe, waterfront, on-campus accommodation with 24-hour security. There are around 1200 rooms available in UEL’s student village. All rooms have en-suite facilities and internet access points.

Since the 2012 Olympic Games, East London has undergone intensive regeneration and investment. It features many modern shopping centres and cultural facilities in the heart of the capital, with easy transport links to the rest of the country.
