Most people think that there are no good options for Medical graduates apart from clinical and teaching practices. This is a wrong perception since medicine these days is as vast as any other field and options are numerous.
There are various options available these days after MBBS and you can choose any of them as per your aim, wishes & social desires.
Option 1: After completing the MBBS course, medical students can obtain their registration number and can practice in any reputed hospital. Apart from this, they can also open up their own clinic and can utilize their medical skills to earn successfully.
Option 2: Medical students may obtain higher specialty by continuing their post-graduation in different branches of medical science and surgery (M.D /M.S/M.Ch/P.hd). Apart from it, one may also practice independently or can join a reputed firm.
Option 3: Most of the medical students prefer doing research in the medical field. There are many such research organizations which offer fellowships, PhD and MSc degrees in clinical and paramedical fields.
Option 4: Students may start their career in medical IT companies, Nanotechnology and medical robotics. They may also join medical transcription services or can work as a software programmer in any reputed firm, if they have interest in software development.
Option 5: Medical students can work in various pharmaceutical companies as medico marketing officers or can also find a position as laboratory research assistants in various organizations.
Option 6: Hospital Management an upcoming field and it is a very fast developing sector. Post graduate degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), you have to be a graduate in any stream. There is also an option for a certificate, diploma or a short–term learning course in hospital management.
