The profession of teaching is a very attractive career as it demands huge respect from the society. India has always had a tradition of holding teachers in great regard.
Even if you don’t plan to teach in a traditional classroom setting, an education degree can be a stepping stone to a wide variety of careers in education, including education administration, school counselling, or even social work.
Education Stream
Education is a skill oriented program that imbibes the skills and knowledge needed for teaching jobs and career in education. During the course of the study, a student is taught the basic of classroom based teaching, and undergoes practical training through case studies. Qualified graduates are then ready to take up teaching jobs in their respective subjects at school level.
The scope of teaching degree links closely to Indian’s education objectives. As the government has stated the need to increase enrolment ratios in schools and colleges, job opportunities for B.Ed. graduates are only going to increase in the near future. The knowledge and expertise in the Field of knowledge delivery can be helpful for careers in almost every domain associated with education.
