India Air Force:

Every youngster dreams of securing a job in the Indian Air Force. Getting selected in the Indian Air Force is a matter of pride and respect for every individual. The Air Force recruits candidates under 3 branches Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) Branch and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branch.

Candidates can get a job at the IAF directly after Class 12 through the NDA exam and clearing the SSB Interview. Graduates and Postgraduates can also join the IAF through CDSE or AFCAT.

The exams through which a candidate can get a job in the Indian Air force:

• Combined Defence Service Exam – CDSE (UPSC)
• NCC Special Entry (IAF)
• Short Service Commission – SSC (AFCAT)
• NDA (UPSC)
• Aeronautical Engineer Recruitment (AFCAT – IAF)

Join Indian Air Force: Flying Branch

As a Graduate:

• CDSE (COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION) – FOR MEN ONLY.

Age Limit: 20 to 24 years (When the course starts)

Educational Qualifications: (1) Graduate (3 Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level)/BE/B Tech (Four Year Course).

OR (2) Final Year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement

• NCC SPECIAL ENTRY (FOR MEN ONLY) Through NCC Air Squadrons / DG NCC.

Age Limit: 20 to 24 years (When the course starts)

Educational Qualifications: (1) Graduate (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and has passed Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level

OR (2) BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent

OR (3) Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. (i) Final Year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any present backlogs at the time of AFSB Testing and produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated (ii) NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and validity of the certificate would be two years before the date of commencement of the course.

• SSC (SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION) ENTRY (FOR MEN AND WOMEN).

Age Limit: 20 to 24 years (When the course starts)

Educational Qualifications: (1) Minimum of 60% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level. (2) Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent

OR BE/BTech (Four Year Course) from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.(3) Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. (4) Final Year students are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any backlog at the time of AFSB Testing and produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated.

Age Relaxation for NCC & SSC – Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years.

National Defence Academy – NDA:

Candidates can give the National Defence Academy Exam conducted by UPSC to join the Air force.

Age: 16 ½ to 19 ½ years

Educational Qualifications: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Students appearing in final year are also eligible to apply.

Join Indian Air Force: Ground Duty Technical Branch

This recruitment is only applicable to candidates with an Engineering degree.

Age: 20 to 26 years (Men only)

Educational Qualifications: (i) Candidates with an Engineering degree in requested trade with minimum 60% marks. (ii)Candidates in their final year can also apply provided they produce their original degree and do not have any backlogs.

Join Indian Air Force: Ground Duty Branches

The Indian Air Force also recruits candidates for its Non-Technical Ground duty operations to manage material & human resources.

Age: 20 to 26 years (at the time of course commencement) (Both Men & Women)

Educational Qualification: (i) Graduate Degree (Minimum 3 year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent.

OR (ii) Cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Indian Army:

Indian Army is the largest and the oldest branch of the Indian armed forces. It trains the individuals to fight on land and consists of various divisions. The primary responsibility of the army is to safeguard the geographical boundaries of the country and to capture enemy territory in the event of a war.

Rally Recruitment

All Indian Army Rally recruitment jobs can be applied through open recruitment rallies such as Soldiers General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Asstt, Sol Clerk/Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Tradesman. Interested candidates may reach a nearby Army Recruiting Office or Head-Quarter Recruiting Zone for all kinds of details. And while reporting candidates must carry the following documents with two attested photocopy of each:

• Class 10 Certificate along with the date of birth mentioned.
• Xth / XIIth Class marks sheet.
• Character Certificate signed by the village Sarpanch
• Domicile/Nativity Certificate issued by authorized Govt official
• Caste Certificate issued by authorized Government official.
• Relationship Certificate in case of Son Of Serving Soldier or an Ex-Servicemen or War Widow issued by SRO or CRO of Record Office with Serial Number, Name and Application of the officer signing the certificate.
• Relevant Certificate as an Outstanding Sportsman.
• National Cadet Corps (NCC) Certificate (A/B/C Certificate if held) signed by Battalion Commander.
