NDA or National Defence Academy entrance exam is for students who have passed Class 12th. If you want to join the army after graduation you can do so after appearing for Combined Defence Services’ exam.

OR (3) Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Age Relaxation for NCC & SSC – Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years.
National Defence Academy – NDA:
Candidates can give the National Defence Academy Exam conducted by UPSC to join the Air force.
Age: 16 ½ to 19 ½ years
Educational Qualifications: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Students appearing in final year are also eligible to apply.
Join Indian Air Force: Ground Duty Technical Branch
This recruitment is only applicable to candidates with an Engineering degree.

Navy Officer Eligibility Criteria
Age – 10+2 graduates aged 16.5 – 19 years (inclusive).
Eligibility: (1) Applicant for the post of Officer in the Electrical/ Marine Engineering /Architect after 10+2 [(Tech) Cadet Entry] should have passed Class 12th or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with an aggregate of at least 75% in PCM and 50% marks in English either in 10th or 10+2 from a recognized board of school education AND Minimum qualification marks required for applying for the post of Naval Officers (Electrical Branch)/Marine Engineering/Architect, Indian Navy may change from time to time and the same to be checked in the advertisement and on the website as and when required.
Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS):
Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) invites application from civil doctors who have passed their final MBBS examination in first or second attempt and completed internship for grant of Short Service Commission in the Army Medical Corps.
Qualification: The applicant must possess medical qualification included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1958. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI.
Age Limit: The candidate must not have attained 45 years of age on 31st December of the year of application.
Coast Guards:
The Indian Coast Guard Navik (General Duty) is responsible for managing operations at sea. The selected candidates then undergo a training process. The selection procedure for the Indian Coast Guard (Navik GD) is a three-phased process involving: Written examination, Physical Fitness Test and Medical Examination.
The qualification of the applying candidate should be 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics subjects from a recognised education board. The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 22 years.
Corps of Engineers:
Indian Army Corps of Engineers is one of the oldest arms of the Indian Army. Indian Army Corps of Engineers consists of three major constituents namely Combat Engineers, MES (Military Engineering Service) and Border Roads. The Corps also provides officers to the Military Survey and Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO).
Minimum Education Qualification: (i) TGC (aa) For Technical Arms and Services (Engineers). A degree in engineering, or equivalent degree from a recognized University in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/Computer, Science/Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication/M.Sc (Computer, Science/Architect/ Industrial/ Manufacturing / Production).
For Army Education Corps: MA/M. Sc. degree in 1st or 2nd division in the following subjects : (aa) MCA, (AB) History, (ac) Psychology (ad) English (ae) Geography (af) Maths (ag) Physics (ah) Economics (ac) For Military Farms : M.Sc. (Agri) in Animal Husbandry and Dairying or M.Sc. in Dairy Husbandry with Dairy Technology after graduation in Agriculture. Preference to be given to Ph.D. in Animal Husbandry or 2 years experience in Research/Teaching after post graduation in Animal Husbandry.
(II) SSC (TECH): A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised University in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Tele-Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Computer: Science / Engineering/ Technology/ Architect/ Industrial/Manu/ Production (c) Candidates who are yet to pass the Technical Degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree/Provisional Degree certificate to Recruiting Directorate (TGC Entry).
