the sphere of healthcare, biosensors have become potent diagnostic instruments
that have revolutionised the way diseases are diagnosed. These tools combine
biological elements with sensor technology to identify and quantify particular
biomarkers, giving precise and timely data for the early detection and
monitoring of diseases.
The
ability of biosensors to identify diseases early on is one of their most
important accomplishments. Biosensors allow for the quick detection of a
variety of illnesses since they have the capacity to detect and measure
particular biomarkers. For instance, glucose biosensors have transformed the
management of diabetes by enabling patients to reliably and continuously
monitor their blood glucose levels. Similar to this, biomarker-based biosensors
support fast intervention and individualised treatment plans by assisting in
the early diagnosis of infectious infections, heart problems, and cancer.
The
integration of biosensors into point-of-care testing equipment is transforming
the field of diagnostics. These portable gadgets eliminate the need for sample
transportation and drawn-out laboratory analysis by giving healthcare providers
immediate results. Point-of-care biosensors have revolutionised the provision
