Green computing is also known as “Green Technology” which means use of computers and other computing devices and peripherals equipment’s in energy saving and eco friendly methods. Company’s which are using green computing technology they use energy efficient central processing units(CPUs),different servers, power system and physical devices.
Organizations also recommend on to use of less resource and at a time of disposing e-garbage for physical and electronic waste should be done in very efficiently and so that it cannot harm our environment and surroundings nearby us.
“Energy Star labeling Program” is being one of the early green computing measures which is started in the United States, which is being introduced by the “Environmental Protection Agency “in 1992.
Data centers which are built in different IT companies are taken care by different members of IT industries regarding their less usage of energy by which using it in more efficient and energy saver ways. Government also focuses on such activities which help in energy consumption and green computing devices.
