Introduction:
As influencers and internet users have seen a tremendous boom throughout the years to facilitate themselves from the newer world technology, the economy throughout the world thrived for change in the Business market. As a result, E-Commerce has been the prime business idea for the sale and purchase of a humongous range of products through the best source, i.e., the Internet.
Alternatively named as online shopping, it is a tool that improvises business communications, different processes and differed decision making facilitating the transference of accurate data accessible throughout individuals among different organization.
Proving to be a communication between users and businesses, because of massive expansion in the current trends, newer advanced technologies are also inculcated like improved visualizations and voice-based data transfer among few, avoiding overloading of data and reducing time.
Primarily, B2B i.e., Business to Business, and B2C i.e., Business to Consumer, presumably sorted type of E-Commerce.
Future Trends:
A prospective trend is been watched in e-commerce over a few years and marketers presume that numerous opinions persist in the future of e-commerce.
In an interview with Economic Times, Giga Information Group Analyst Andrew Bartel says that the future of e-commerce is significant because of the growth perceived in past years and can be seen in current trends. He identified multi-channel retailing, customer satisfaction, consumer orientation, profit generation, and reduction in mid-sized retailers are trends to continue. (Regan, 2002).
Recently, published reports expect the outgrowth in e-commerce sales to about $50 Billion in the upcoming 5 years.
Since, e-commerce facades the enumerative changes in the upcoming decade, as per surveys conducted, 3-D visualizations and customized advertising will replace e-commerce with virtuous shopping malls through the flexibility in the online open world environment. As a result, V-Commerce will be emerging and will replace E-Commerce. “The paradigm shift from E-Commerce to V-Commerce will presumably increase the demands to support this shift resulting in web-hosting and reliability on the providers will be a success.” (E-Commerce to 2020).
As a supporting field, E-Commerce will also change due to customizations, web hosting, personalization as per customer, and retail sector implications (E-Commerce to 2020). Micro commerce, cross-selling deals, co-marketing, etc. will also be gaining popularity to announce a few. Thus, the industry will face several challenges and changes in the upcoming future. (Smith, 2009).
Conclusion:
E-Commerce is an ever-growing market with a substantial number of changes within the different events of the time and currently, confluences suppliers and consumers due to its advantageous state i.e., smooth lag-free transactions, global market access, deduced costing, etc.
